Our Vision

Vison for ministry is a clear mental image of  a preferable future imparted by God to His chosen servants, based upon an accurate understanding of God, self and circumstances, The following is a statement of our vision for the future:

"We believe God's will for us is to become a model of an urban church that is touching the lives of residents of greater Seattle through an effective Christ centered ministry in an urban environment"

Elements of our Vision include:

Breaking the "325 Barrier" by expanding the scope of our service.

Becoming a great place for children.

Becoming a learning environment for leaders.

Becoming a church of all nations ministering to a diverse community.

Our Mission

A mission statement describes the overriding ministry calling for the church - a definition of the church's reason for existence and what is called to do. The statement indentifies the chruch's distinctive work.

"Our mission  is to love God and lead others to Him"

(This statement contains in consice language the Great Commandment, Matthew 22:37, and the Great Commision, Matthew 18:19-20).

Our Mission is carried out through:

Exalting God (Worshipping)

Evangelizing our Community (Witnessing)

Equipping the Saints (Teaching)

Encouraging one another (Fellowshipping)

Engaging people at their point of need (Serving)
